Blissful Monday: Part 1

Jessica at Treasuring has started a new series of posts called Blissful Mondays in which she makes a list of things that has brought her joy over the week. And she wants people to join in. I’ve had some pretty good weeks this Autumn, and not five minutes ago I was thinking of weekly themed blog posts I can take part in, so I’m going to do this one! I’ll try to do it every Monday in November, and maybe even longer after that :D

  1. Finally making amazing double chocolate muffins with Dan. I bought the mix forever ago and we just made them on Wednesday, I believe. They were really good and I ate a million. We brought some for Jordan’s family because they are sick and needed some love in the form of chocolate cake. They said they were GOOD. I’m excited to make the second half of the mix VERY SOON.

  3. Watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show and listening to the soundtrack a million times. I’m listening to it right now, lol. I used to love this movie years ago. I even dressed up in a red corset and went to the play when I was like 15. I haven’t thought much about the movie in recent years, but now that I’ve been reunited, I can’t get enough of it. it made my crappy halloween a million times better by being on tv on multiple channels at staggering times. I think it definitely is one of my favourite movies of all times. I’ve been having this idea for a RHPS tattoo floating around in my head and it will not go away : )
  4. don't dream it, be it

  5. Dan and I took a gigantic walk to Jordan’s house and then to my house. It was really great to enjoy the very nice and somewhat warm late October weather and to take pictures of the peaking fall colours while we walked through the trails between Jordan’s house and my house. We stopped at a bench near the hill and swings to take pictures and be cute. A woman passed us by, smiled and said hello and totally thought we were the cutest ever. Then she went on the swings because she’s a free spirit. Imagine she reads my blog? Oh my. Anyway, my boyfriend makes me incredibly happy and I love being with him. I really loved all of the October Walks and all of the pictures he took throughout the month. I do a huge photopost on my lj at the end of each month. More and more pictures are being taken by him and I like that : ) Boyfriend, you are nice<3

  7. I can’t make a Bliss List without including a picture of the AMAZING FALL COLOURS THAT I WILL MISS DEARLY COME WINTER. I’ve had such a great Autumn this year. I really tried to get outside a lot and enjoy the nice weather and to photograph the beautiful trees and blue skies. I’m not really a fan of winter and how everything looks so bleak. But the stunning display of fall colours totally makes up for it. I think I said this here before, but I don’t think I could ever get sick of Autumn. Now if only it was possible for a country to have eternal fall so that I could experience it year round (or perhaps on vacations since I do like summer too :D). This is my current desktop picture. It was taken on our big Jordan-My House walk.

  8. My sister’s never ending generosity has made me happy and grateful, not only this week, but all of the time. Geminis are a lot more generous than Virgos and I’ve always been kind of in awe at how much she is willing to give and share, without even giving it a though. I’m much quicker to say “no” automatically without really considering the situation. Anyway, she really helped me out this week, and I’m forever grateful (and also in deeper debt, lol.) When I get a job, I’ll definitely be taking her out for dinner on a regular basis : )

  9. I was going to stop at 5, but then I realized I’m missing something somewhat big. I FINALLY GOT MY CRAFT SUPPLIES SOMEWHAT ORGANIZED AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Well, my sewing stuff is organized, at least. But it’s a start! I just wrote a massive paragraph about the details of my epic craft organizational skills, but I decided it’s worthy of a post of its own with lots of pictures, so I’ll say it for later. Instead, I’ll leave you with this picture of the first piece of a secret project I’m working on. I think i need to adjust the top part a bit, but I’m happy with it otherwise and I’m excited to see the project grow : ) In short: FELT MAKES ME HAPPY.
